The system retrieves data directly from the Global Weather Forecast System (GFS-USNWS) via a high speed network, prepossessing and transmits the regional data to Vietnam, reduces forecast time down to 20 minutes in comparison with 150 minutes of the local data processing method. Due to the above listed renovations, the Vietnamese version of ETA2005 becomes officially operating system serving Vietnamese short range weather forecast.

• Activity: The system receives figure from the International meteorological Asociation and run the HRM program daily, twice a day.
• System constuction: 4 TYAN Dual AMD 1,4GHz computer, Ethnet Bonding 200Mbs.
• Effective: with the previous system (IBM RISS6000 computer), it takes the Center 10 hours to run the HRM program so can not run daily the program. With CadPro's system, it takes only 57 minutes.Now, the program can run daily, this help provide more accurate results.
